Tax Chief Urges Crypto Trading Infrastructure in Russia
Russia's Federal Tax Service head Daniil Egorov has called for domestic cryptocurrency trading infrastructure to support the country's legalized mining sector. Miners currently export most production, creating what Egorov describes as a developmental bottleneck during his SPIEF interview.
The proposal comes as Moscow deliberates creating licensed digital asset platforms. "When mining is legalized, miners must have legal sales channels," Egorov stated, emphasizing the absurdity of permitting extraction while restricting monetization. Domestic infrastructure would prevent capital flight to foreign VIRTUAL markets.
